To mark the occasion of UK Construction Week, we’re highlighting our most recent industry awards. In the past couple of years, Streif UK has won two Morgan Sindall Construction Awards as well as being recognised at the Structural Timber Awards.

UK Construction Week

Twice a year, the best of the industry gathers at UK Construction Week. You can join over 21,000 construction professionals and immerse in three days of insights at the only event designed for the entire construction supply chain.

Visit Grand Design Live while you’re there. It’s the place where Kevin McCloud can introduce you to expert advice, new products and eco solutions for the home.

UK Construction Week takes place at ExCeL London in May (7-9) and in October (1-3) the event heads to NEC Birmingham.

What better time is there to join our colleagues and celebrate the innovative sustainable building solutions we bring to the industry?

Morgan Sindall Construction Awards

Our most recent win was an Innovation Award at the Morgan Sindall Construction Northern Home Counties Supply Chain Awards.

The ceremony was hosted at Knebworth House Barns and the award recognised our contribution to the Little Reddings Primary School project.

A great education building project featuring our closed panel system, works at Little Reddings are still ongoing.

Progress on Little Reddings education building project

This joins our trophy for Morgan Sindall’s Subcontractor of the Year at the Supply Chain Awards 2022 (Southern Home Counties).

It was a pleasure to attend a top event at Malmaison, Brighton Marina, and meet some other top names in UK construction.

Structural Timber Awards

The end of last year was an exciting time for the Streif UK team. Not only did we make the shortlist for Education Project of the Year at the Structural Timber Awards 2023 but we walked away with another gong!

This time it was Closed/Advanced Panel Technology of the Year based on our involvement in the sustainable educational building project at Hailsham Community College Academy Trust.

We supplied the technical design, manufacture and installation of an advanced closed panel timber system. Surpassing Morgan Sindall Construction’s expectations, the build achieved a BREEAM Very Good rating and calculated carbon savings of 1164 tonnes.

A winning UK construction company

Streif UK Project Manager Tom Weller says: “Our construction awards show our commitments to teamwork and innovation. It’s fantastic to be recognised for our achievements and we’re proud of our hardworking team.

“We continue to develop our products and make our advanced closed panel system a true market leader. Inspired by our colleagues at UK Construction Week, we also continue to deliver sustainability, quality and value.”
