We are very pleased to have been invited back to Bexhill Academy to design, manufacture and install a new two storey education block in collaboration with Main Contractor, Booker & Best. The new block has once again been designed by Evolution Architects, creating consistency of design on site. This 2 storey block will consist of 4 classrooms, offices and store rooms.
With the installation of the Streif building system required during the Easter 2021 School Holidays there is an extremely short lead in time for this project, however the reduced overall construction programme is not a problem for Streif UK due to the nature of our offsite system and our standard 16 week design and production programme.
As we will be working within the constraints of an existing site which is extremely tight on space, careful planning of the logistics will be required. This will be assisted by the reduced numbers of deliveries and reduced numbers of trades on site due to the nature of our integrated closed panel building system, which is manufactured off site when compared to traditional methods of construction, ensuring our modular building can be erected seamlessly.
