The STREIF system is based on a ‘closed panel’ timber frame which is manufactured off-site in our factory in Germany. The term ‘closed panel’ means the timber frame arrives on site already sheathed with the windows and doors fitted and first fix for electrical and mechanical services in place. STREIF provide a range of ‘closed panels’ to meet all performance requirements, even Passivhaus standards are met with our high performance panels.
Therefore it is only right that we do justice to our building system with components to match.
STREIF can supply as standard the best quality, German tilt and turn windows and glazed doors in timber, timber- aluminium, Upvc and Upvc-aluminium at competitive prices as part of one of our building kits. These are direct from the manufacturer Ideal Fensterbau. We can provide a window to match the performance of any of our panels with U-values ranging between 1.25 W/m²K – 0.61 W/m²K.
STREIF can also supply as standard high quality entrance doors by Keratur from the House Line range. These robust doors offer high levels of security with modern aesthetics and that satisfying feeling of solidity on closing. The U-value of the standard Keratur House Line entrance door is 0. 95 W/m²K and they can be arranged in a multitude of combinations with sidelights/double sidelights to match any design.
