As we move into spring with the sun shining and days getting longer we are excited to be moving towards the final design and construction phases of a number of projects. The first to hit site is Pearce Avenue a large residential dwelling in Poole with views out towards Brownsea Island and across Parkstone Bay. This is another design by local architectural practice RB Studio Architects who we worked alongside on a previous project Grasmere which was featured on BBC2 television documentary ‘Building Dream Homes’. Pearce Avenue is of a contemporary design, providing functional spaces to all floors with the design incorporating large glazed elevations to soak up those stunning sea views from the second floor. Pearce Avenue is a sizeable dwelling but with the good weather on our sides we hope to have the erection and fit out of our closed panel system completed in under two weeks, enabling the follow on trades to move in and apply the finishing touches to the building.
Moving forward, we have a number of commercial projects in the pipeline of which the design is in full swing with a view to being on site over summer. Once again we are working in partnership with Baxall Construction on a number of large school extensions/new school blocks for the client East Sussex County Council. The nature and design of these are all quite different but the flexibility of the STREIF closed panel system is easily capable of accommodating the additional design requirements of school buildings and all at speed which ensures minimal disruption to the pupils and schools themselves.
At STREIF we pride ourselves on our reputation as it is this which ensures our future, so we are always pleased to continue working alongside existing clients on their new projects, as it proves we are fulfilling our promise of providing quality buildings, quickly and within budget.
So if you have a new project on the horizon please come and speak to us and see how we can help you.
