Streif UK’s quality accreditations
ISO 9001: 2015
An independent, non-governmental organisation, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) unites the finest representatives across many industries.
With a membership of 165 national bodies, experts share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market-relevant international standards. These standards are designed to support innovation and bring solutions to global challenges.
We at Streif UK hold ISO 9001 certification for our Quality Management System. This applies to precision engineered integrated offsite solutions for the UK construction industry regarding:

BM Trada Q-Mark
BM TRADA Q-Mark is the product certification scheme for building and construction products operated by BM TRADA. One of the UK’s leading certification bodies with over 50 years’ experience, BM TRADA has been accredited by UKAS since 1991.
Based on the recognised Product Certification Standard EN 45011, BM TRADA Q-Mark product certification for construction confirms that a product conforms to the requirements of an appropriate recognised product Scheme Technical Document.
The Timber Frame Building System produced in our German factory meets the selected requirements of ETAG 007 Timber Frame Building Kits and is registered within the BM TRADA Q-Mark Scheme for Building Systems.
TUV Rheinland
TUV stands for Technischer Überwachungsverein (Technical Inspection Association). The largest of the three major TUVs in Germany, TÜV Rheinland is the most globally recognised. Achieving the test mark signals the suitability, safety and high quality of products to give customers/clients confidence they’re making an informed choice.
Streif’s houses have been tested and we’ve received a TÜV Rheinland Certificate for Healthier Building meeting the following criteria:
- No harmful substances
- Suitable for allergy sufferers
RAL Gütezeichen
To standardise and monitor quality assurance processes in a similar way to ISO 9001, the foundation of the ReichsAusschuss für Lieferbedingungen (National Board for Delivery Conditions) established an independent institution responsible for the approval of RAL Gütezeichen (Quality Marks).
These quality marks are awarded to manufacturers and service providers by the RAL approved Quality Assurance Providers.
Strict regulations provide validation of products or services. This helps customers find something that:
- Works reliably
- Complies with the latest technical standards
- Is environmentally compatible
Streif’s clients can rest assured that we tick all three boxes as we’ve been awarded the Quality Label for Timber Home Construction.
BOPAS
An independent third-party accreditation of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) providers and their associated construction systems, Buildoffsite Property Assurance Scheme (BOPAS) guarantees the integrity and durability of properties.
This assures lenders, developers, contractors, housing associations and homeowners about the design, manufacture and installation of all accredited construction systems. Streif’s sustainable building systems hope to be fully certified by the end of the year.
Streif’s System Selector for your peace of mind
September marks the launch of our System Selector tool. A library of our wall panel and floor cassette types, it’s complete with downloadable certificates and performance data.
It includes everything from specifications, U-values and upgrade options to fire-resistance, duty and acoustic ratings. This means our specifier clients can now make the most informed decisions about the best building systems for their projects.
