Streif UK have returned this week to Bexhill Academy to start works on the new two storey teaching block to the rear of the existing Academy building, this will be the second building we have erected for the Academy. As you will see from the photos it is a very tight site with limited room to manoeuvre the crane and lorry into position. Even with these restrictions great progress has been made in the first week of lifting, with all ground floor walls, floor cassettes and first floor walls installed, there was even time to help the main contractor lift the steel staircase in to position.

Impressive stuff and a fine example of how manufacturing offsite can save a massive amount of time on site and reduce the overall construction programme considerably.

Keep up the good work!
