How We Work

Our Software

The Streif design teams are conversant with the most commonly used design software packages, and our buildings are designed using a combination of 2d and 3d modelling tools across multiple platforms.

Dietrich’s is the leader in 3D-CAD/CAM software for the timber building industry. All our projects are modelled using Dietrich’s, utilizing the 2D and 3D capabilities of this software to create detailed production drawings of all the building components, ready for automated processing via the specialist Hundegger K2i timber joinery machine at our factory in Germany.
