House Building


There are three crucial advantages that the STREIF closed panel timber frame can provide for a developer.

Faster construction times. With our timber frame system, construction times can often be reduced by as much as 50%. This means that houses can be marketed and occupied sooner ensuring developers a greater return on their investment and the ability to move on to the next project earlier.

Greater cost certainty. As a developer cost is everything and key to ensuring margins are met. As all STREIF timber frame houses are manufactured off-site which requires a forensic approach to the design before moving to the production stage, we can be sure the price you are quoted is the price you will pay. This means no nasty surprises or unexpected last minute costs as is nearly always the case with traditional on-site construction.

Much higher quality. As all our buildings are manufactured off-site under controlled factory conditions by fully trained craftsmen we can ensure the finished product is first rate every time. Waters edge is a modern villa style property erected by STREIF in East Preston, West Sussex a stones throw from the sea. The design incorporated large areas of glazing to soak up the sea views, these required window and door systems which were able to withstand all the British weather would throw at them. Built in 2014 for a private client and designed by RB Studio Architects. Slepe Farm is a large modern family home erected by STREIF in Arne, Dorset with views across to Corfe Castle. Grasmere, North Dorset

Built in 2014 for a private client and designed by RB Studio Architects. Grasmere is a contemporary style property erected by STREIF in the village of  Shillingstone in the rolling hills of North Dorset. The modern design was grounded with the local environment by clever selection of natural external finishes. The Nurseries, Lewes

Built in 2007 for Blue Sonic Ltd and designed by architects BPM, The Nurseries was the first large scale construction project in the UK to be undertaken by any German house manufacturer.  Eighteen traditionally styled townhouses were built by STREIF  in the  town of Lewes, East Sussex and were successfully marketed to the private sector. Hogenboom Resort, Kronenburg

Built in 2010 and 2011 as part of a rolling programme for the Dutch holiday group Hogenboom, the twenty houses form the latest extension to the Kronenburger See vacation park in Germany. Lindner Resort, Nurburg

Built in 2009 for the international Lindner Hotel Group, the holiday park at Nurburg next to the Formula One motor circuit was one of STREIF's largest build projects of late. Stoke On Trent College
