STREIF’s heavy duty roof cassette system is the ideal solution for mono pitched roofs, flat roofs and rooms in the roof, and especially where buildings need to be made watertight fast.
Manufactured under controlled factory conditions and already felt battened and insulated, they're ready to receive all types of roof coverings immediately.
The solid timber rafters are strong – minimum 240mm x 60mm, C24 graded, Scots Pine, PEFC, 15% (±3%) moisture content, and fully treated to last.
Single roof cassettes are up to 13m long and 2.5m wide, and can be pre- battened to any roof tiling centres required.
The system is very quick – with our highly trained crews up to 1,000m² of roof cassettes can be installed in a day, meeting the highest levels of quality and safety.
Suitable for timber frame, masonry or steel frame construction, and routinely strong enough to accept extensive green roofs. Can be engineered with glulam or steel purlins and ridge beams to give extra wide room in the roof spaces.
100% PEFC timber product.
Wolmanit CX10 timber treatment.
Cassette sizes up to 13m x 2.5m.
Solid timber construction, not I-joists or Posi-joists.
Better strength, stability & fire resistance.
Supply only, supply & training, or supply & fix.
Immediately watertight and ready to go.
Very fast and safe installation rates.
Zero site waste & better site safety.
Full structural calculations supplied.
Also available are STREIF's unique folding rafters for self assembly by hand. Pre-cut and pre-hinged, they make a good alternative to traditional cut and pitch roofs.
The rafter sets are easily manhandled and open out to the required pitch with the use of a simple pre-cut collar beam. A couple of bolts and it's all done!
Suitable for use with STREIF's felt and batten elements which sit directly on the rafters. Similarly sized to the roof cassettes, the elements make building watertight in just a few lifts.
