Built in 2010 and 2011 as part of a rolling programme for the Dutch holiday group Hogenboom, the twenty houses form the latest extension to the Kronenburger See vacation park in Germany.
The project is a bit out of the ordinary for STREIF in that it is a supply only contract for the building contractor Homes Forever Ltd, who use their own crews to erect the houses. However, with similar contracts being undertaken in France, it demonstrates how STREIF is able to provide off site building solutions from full turn key, to supply and fix of building shells, to supply only of building shells.
Another non-standard feature is the use of Structural Insulated Panel (SIPs) roofs throughout the scheme, again showing how the STREIF offsite building system can easily be integrated with different build systems whenever the need arises. With 2,240 m² built to date, the expansion of the resort will continue with STREIF in 2012.
